Sumo at the SRAMP conference, Sapporo, Japan / 000_Banquet_Setting October 2, 2000

Our story begins at the SRAMP conference which was held in Sapporo Japan in October 2000.

Distinguished scientists from around the world gathered there to discuss space weather and the influence of the space environment on technological systems.

On the first evening of the conference a welcoming banquet and reception was held.
