This shows the area where the
warriors are reassembled. Once the pieces are put back in place
a thin layer of terra cotta is used to cover the cracks so they
look nearly whole. When heads are missing though they are not
replaced.
Originally the warriors were
painted bright colors over top of a black base.
There are many but limited number
of body types but apparently all the heads and faces are unique.
