A Users Guide to data from The Combined Release and Radiation Effects Satellite Program (CRRES)

ON LINE DATA AND INFORMATION

The SouthWest Research Institute has the most complete set of on line information and data from the CRRES Mission
  • 0.1-2 MeV electron spectra are available from The NSSDC Master Data Catalog
  • LOMCIS (Lower Energy Ion Mass Spectrometer) data is publicly accessible on http://pemrac.space.swri.edu/
Follow the instructions for telneting to the Southwest Data and Archival System (SDDAS) given on the page http://pemrac.space.swri.edu/ CRRES/LOMICS is listed under SPACERAD. First time users of the SDDAS sytem should review the on line user guides before attempting to access data.
  • Overviews of the instruments on the CRRES satellite LONG.
  • A description of the LOMICs Instrument(Low-energy Magnetospheric Ion Composition Sensor)
  • A description of the Magnetometer Instrument The Space Plasma Physics group at the Mullard Space Sciences Laboratory has several pages of information and data.

Off Line Sources for information about CRRES instruments and data

On line data from other satellite programs is available through the Space Physics Data System (SPDS)
