These files are only available for CEPPAD. Each file contains
24 hours of data.
You may choose a file type and date, this file will then be made
available to you to download.
RAL Intermediate file mode description
The RAL intermediate files can be made for a series of different
"modes". These modes are simply different combinations of averages
over spin, sector and energy. At present only the SURVEY
(CLEAN SURVEY for IES) mode files have been produced for the whole
mission. Each file consists of an IDL save set.
- SURVEY: all detectors, all energies, sectors averaged
to give 16 sector values, averaged over 16 spins.
- CLEAN SURVEY: all detectors, all energies, sectors
averaged to give 16 sector values, averaged over 16 spins,
callibrated and pedestal corrected
Plotting Software
These data files can be displayed using the
PAPCO
(PAnelPlot COmposer) data analysis package.
PAPCO can be used for display and analysis of all POLAR in-situ,
CLUSTER RAPID, LANL, GPS, CRRES, and other related data. There is
a complete on-line
users guide and you can
download the latest
version of the IDL source code.
If you are already running PAPCO, you can download the latest
POLAR CEPPAD module from the
PAPCO modules page (List of available modules and
their Web Sites).
For dowloading a large number of data, these files are also
available from the PAPCO ftp site. The site is password protected,
