to the angle between the detector look direction and the
POLAR spacecraft spin axis not the magnetic field
direction. The Radial distance, Magnetic Local Time
(MLT), and L-shell parameter are shown in the lower
panel. This type of plot is particularly useful for
spotting anisotropies, loss cones, and energetic neutral
