Organization of the GEM Storms Campaign

Overview:

The GEM Inner Magnetosphere/Storms Campaign offically began with the 1998 Snowmass Workshop. It was initiated and planning was begun 3 years earlier under the leadership of Mary Hudson. In 1999 Anthony Chan took over respnsibility as Campaign Convener.

The campaign was begun with three working groups but it was quickly decided to reorganize into two working groups. The two working groups are:
Working Group 1: Ring Current and Plasmasphere, chaired by Janet Kozyra and Jim Horwitz
Working Group 2: Radiation Belts, chaired by Geoff Reeves and Richard Thorne
